I will miss Herb and the many laughs we shared with my sister Joan Smith who was the love of his life.  He was an amazing man who was honorary grandpa to Kevin, Austin, Paul, Kimmie, Shari and Kimberly.  He had a heart of gold and would always help out when needed and kept my sister in cigarettes even though she isn't supposed to be smoking any more.  I used to yell at him about that but he figured at the age they were they might as well enjoy themselves.  He used to love to go to Anna's restaurant in East Hartford where you could get a good meal.  I will miss Herb he was quite a character and fun to be around and could spin stories and keep you entertained.  He will be sorely missed by Joan and family .
