Avelina "Evelyn" Parent, 86, of Enfield, beloved wife of Robert Parent for 65 years, passed into eternal peace, Wednesday Jan. 2, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late John and Carmella Bonetti. She lived in Enfield for 52 years. Evelyn was employed as an insurance representative for many years at The Travellers Insurance retiring in 1994. She was an avid reader.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, Suzanne Sarra Tyszkiewicz and her husband Joseph of San Francisco CA, Robert Parent Jr. of Agawam, MA, Gary Parent San Francisco, CA, and Jeffrey Parent of Unionville, CT, two grandsons, Justin Ivey and his wife Olivia of Mesa, Arizona, Michal Tyszkiewicz of Los Angeles, CA, a brother, Leo Bonetti and his wife Eileen, and a sister, Margie Bonetti Snelling of North Carolina. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Burial is private.
