Obituary for Anja Dewees

Anja Dewees, 45 of Enfield, died Thursday (May 22, 2014) at home. Born in Germany on August 21,1968 daughter of Helmut and Erika Knerr of Germany, she had lived in Windsor Locks before moving to Enfield 16 years ago. She leaves her husband, John Dewees of Enfield; a son, Joey Dewees and his fiancée, Amanda Wages of Broad Brook; three sisters, Aurelia and husband, Klaus of Germany, Silvia and husband, Norbert in Germany, Margot in Florida and a brother, Alfred and wife, Petra in Germany.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11 at 7 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. Burial will be private. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday from to 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
