​Janet Ruth (Hurlburt) Lemieux, 100, of East Longmeadow, MA, passed away on April 18, 2023. Born in Stafford Springs, CT on February 13, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Edna (Merwin) Hurlburt​. She had a long career as a Nurses' Aide at Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft​.​ Myers, FL ​and previously at Heritage Hall, Agawam, MA and East Longmeadow Nursing Home. She lived in East Longmeadow before moving to Ft​.​ Myers, FL in 1975 before returning to East Longmeadow in 2010. Janet loved country music and was a member of the Florida Country Music Association as well as the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Lehigh, Florida. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her ​daughter Judith Ryan, her ​son Robert Ryan, and her brother Edwin Hurlburt. She leaves 4 children, Theodore​ Ryan​, ​Patricia Ryan Normand, ​Kevin ​Ryan ​and David Ryan; ​many grandchildren​ and extended family members.
