Lois C. Norman, 74, of Enfield, died July 6, 2010. Born in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Martha (Massaker) Courey. Lois retired as a teacher from the Enfield Public Schools. She was the beloved wife of Nelson, and mother of Maria Norman of Suffield, CT and John Norman of Newington, CT. She is also survived by her cousins, Elizabeth Haller, Cheryl Marrewa and Harry Michael Marrewa; her brother-in-law, Paul Norman and his wife Kitty of Greenville, SC; her sister-in-law, Eva Norman of Agawam, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law Anna Norman Haddad. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Road, Enfield. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening, July 8, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. The Norman family would like to thank Dr. Darren O’Neill for the exceptional care he gave to Lois.
