The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Croft can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The best teacher I ever had.

I haven’t seen Mr. Croft in years but hearing of his passing sent me right back to high school to all those times he wasn’t just my teacher, coach and adviser but was a trusted, caring friend who always had my best interest at heart. I remember so many times when I was down and he was always there with a smile and an encouraging story. Many times he restored my faith in humankind and it felt as though he had saved me from plunging into a downward spiral of my own negativity. To say, he made a difference would be such an understatement. I’m heartbroken and deeply saddened. To his family – I’m very sorry for not being able to attend the wake but please know how much he meant to me. BTW I posted a photo of myself, Patty Teller, Coach Charlotte Stacey, Mr. Croft, Heidi Rabis, & Michelle Revay. It was the first year East Windsor had girl’s track. Mr. Croft was our coach and I think even he was shocked when we placed 5th in the medley statewide…good times!
