Condolences

Condolence From: greg blanchfield
Condolence: Mr J was a professional, a gentleman and most of all a true and positive role model for our students in Windsor Locks.I worked with Mr. J for a number of years as principal of Windsor Locks Middle School. During that time, he demonstrated incredible interest and concern for all our students. He was patient, approachable, funny and respectful to each and every child he encountered.

Mr. J personified what it meant to establish meaningful relationships with kids. He took his job very seriously. I will always cherish the numerous conversations we had before and after school during my bus duty.

Mr J was the "real deal" and I will miss him very much. May he rest in peace.

Mr. B

Condolence: R.I.P. Mr. J. He had a smile and kind words every day to my kids when they got on the bus. Even after my kids no longer rode the bus. Mr. J remembered their names and even mine when he would see us walking by his house he would stop and chat. Thoughts and prayers to your family. We will miss you.

Condolence: I remember Mr. J as the most amazing man in the world to talk to. He never held grudges because he understood that children make mistakes. He would sit there and listen to every children's story because he felt as if they were all important. I was one of Mr. J's "kids" and he will forever live on in my life. I owe part of who I am to him. He used to drive by my parents house around Halloween because my dad did an amazing display and he would stop and let all of the kids look for a few minutes before bringing them to school even if he was late. He truly cared about every child that was on his bus and even children who weren't. He will be greatly missed by everyone in Windsor Locks.

Condolence: Mr. J will be missed. I was one of his many "kids" that rode his bus for many years. I will always remember the talks we had, the fun of him taking us over the speed bumps, and the kindness he showed my grandfather (the bus stop was kind of far from the house and when my grandfather would wait at the bus stop for me in the afternoon, Mr J would insist on him getting on the bus and would drop us both off in front of the house so he wouldn't have to walk back since he had health problems).

I'm so sorry for the family's loss. He will be missed by all his "kids".

Condolence: Sheila,
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. J's passing. He was such a great guy. He always had a smile on his face and was pleasant to talk to. We would have long conversations years ago as he sat at the counter in Dunkin hanging with everyone. I could always count on a wave & a smile as I drove by. He will be greatly missed. Thinking of you at this difficult time.
Debbie
