Mrs. Salamone, your husband was a wonderful music instructor that goes beyond words. He was my instructor as a boy growing up at Brainard School in the mid 60's. I can still picture your loving husband sitting next to me leading and encouraging me in playing my cornet. He had a remarkable patience and understanding. Though as a boy I took him somewhat for granted, he left the most indelible impressions in me of any teacher in grade school if not in all my 12 years in the public school system. I can still picture his smile and sense his gentle spirit though it was over 50 years ago now. I trust he is with the Lord in heaven today.
